A new location and a ribbon cutting event for a westside business owner!
The sun was setting in the El Paso sky and the Franklin Mountains were aluminating the sunset glow!
It was a great, cool weather, evening to photograph a ribbon cutting ceremony for Floor Coverings International.
Always happy to give my time for a new business and to share in the joy of their Grand Opening!
A far reach from photographing Weddings and Professional Head Shots, but this event is definitely just as important.
Being a small business owner myself, I understand the joy and excitement of opening a new location and also the hard work that it has taken to get to this point.

The delicious food, the beautiful speech, the official starlighter plaque and the ribbon cutting, it all made for a really great night!
As you can see from the photographs, the food and drinks were top notch and Linda made sure her guests were taken care of.
The speech from Linda's sister, Laura Leslie, was awesome!
As Laura said, "It can be a risky move to ask family to speak at your event," hahaha, but Laura took the "sweet sister" side of the road and talked about Linda growing up and her path to the Sun City. And, how Linda's tenacity and drive has brought her to the place of owning her westside business, how Floor Coverings International will be a success because of Linda's hard work and determination.

Surrounding yourself with business professionals, like minds, and the love and support from family and friends can certainly help a business grow.
As you can see, Linda had lots of support for her new store opening.
What a great start, the excitement, the love, and the true support for the future success of her business!
Linda has certainly put in the work and built these professional and personal relationships and that is a testament to her hard work to build her business as well.
