New roles and a new reality, this family adjusts to make great memories.
Wow, this was such a FUN BUSINESS HEADSHOT session!
Whatever we have faced this year, life still goes on and capturing special moments with family has become more important in our lives, don't you agree?
A session that took place in my HOME STUDIO on the Westside of El Paso, Tx, we definitley took all the precautions necessary for my clients to feel at ease and safe.
My client had a plan for a certain look and feel to this special CREATIVE HEADSHOT.
When Pablo contacted me and gave me the ideas he had, I was game! He explained to me his thoughts and what he was looking for and I took his idea a tiny step further and asked him to allow his son to bring his favorite super hero toys that he plays with to the session as well.
A little shy at first, Pablo's son quickly felt at ease knowing he got to hold his toys in the shots too! We had such a fun time.
Pablo told me HILARIOUS STORIES about zoom calls with work and how his 4 year old son impacted some of them, which prompted his idea for this session.

"I wanted to update my headshot, but also to have some fun with it as a reflection of my current reality. For the past 3 months I have been working from home balancing work/family life with my 4 year-old son. My wife is an essential health care worker at our local hospital, so needless to say, there’s been some interesting virtual meeting impromptu (and hilarious) moments with my little one. When your client posts his image on his LinkedIn profile and it goes VIRAL?!?

Over this past weekend, Pablo sent me a text/image and simply said, "Chris. Did you see? We went viral!"
I had been watching the image gain popularity over the weeks since it was posted, but the "Views" shocked me!
Pablo has been great supporter of my business and has trusted me to take his headshots over the years and to say "WE went viral" well, that really made me feel great about my work and thankful for my loyal clients. Headshot Sessions for KIDS TOO!
So, what do you do, as a photographer, when you have a super cute kid, with LOTS of PERSONALITY, that is spinning around on your stool, because you let him, and Dad has stepped away?
Well, you ask Dad, QUICKLY, if you can take a couple of frames of his son!
For me, its about allowing kids to BE KIDS!
These super cute shots happened IN BETWEEN me asking for FUNNY FACES. Great right?!
We laughed and he made faces for me for a WHOLE 4 MINUTES! Yes, just 4 minutes, from start to finish. Seems short, huh? But it's certainly a long time for a young boy with LOTS of ENERGY.
I was so happy to get these AWESOME images and so were his parents!
